Just in time for Easter, yay!

Thanks to John S., who sent this to me in an email!
As I mentioned earlier, here are my favorite pictures from last night’s total lunar eclipse.
The small blur to the left is Saturn in this next image. The one towards the top is the star Regulus:
This morning was pretty cold and there was a lot of frost along with fog. I took this picture in my back yard.
They are falling behind at the new Federal Courthouse site because of all the snow. Today, some dude was up shoveling some off the second floor. He didn’t get much done:
Also nearby, the weight of the snow knocked down one of our nice trees:
Remember last year when I said I finished the bathroom?
I finally took some pictures!
My office is mostly surrounded by Ponderosa Pine trees. Before they started building the new Federal Courthouse next door, it was like working in a park. Now it’s like working in a construction zone.
I kinda like this picture. I took it the other day, around the same time as the bigfoot picture.
Here are some icicles I have at home now:
That yellow vase took a tumble down to the floor one day (my wife shuts the front door real hard, which is just under this window, and the vases slowly wander toward the ledge). It fell about 12 feet onto a hardwood floor and bounced.
And here are some more on the outside:

Yesterday I snapped a good one of some snowy trees:

I took some pictures last night as I was leaving the office to see how my new camera does in low-light conditions. See for yourself:
But wait! What is that in the center?? Can it be? It looks like—oh no!

Yesterday I went and donated blood with Jeff. This is a regular thing for us. We usually hit the Chinese restaurant afterwards, and this time was no exception. My fortune cookie was terrible, though—the pinyin was all wrong. See, look:

How do they expect people to learn Chinese if the pinyin is off? It should say Xian zai ji dian.
Oh yeah, and don’t steal my lucky numbers, they were for me alone!
Now that I have my new camera, I can take pictures again. Well, I only needed a new lens, but the difference in price wasn’t that much. Anyway, today they aren’t doing much work on the new courthouse (probably due to the cold). Here’s a photo of what’s been going on lately (click for larger 6Mb jpg):
Remember that post about a new camera? It’s here!
And this is just a sloppy, quick shot. I can’t wait to get some real pictures!
