We made California rolls and shrimp rolls tonight. This was our first experiment.
The wasabi was much hotter than the usual stuff I have. Perhaps it was fresher or something, but Wes (my youngest brother) and I both got a In fact, the whole experience was quite reminiscent of my first time eating wasabi. Remind me to tell that story sometime…bit lot more than we bargained for. When he asked if it snuck up on me, I said "No, it was more like an uphill charge ending with a grenade being thrown into a bunker."
