I found this recipe at Uwajimaya's site, it is pretty tasty:
Sushi rice
5 Tablespoon rice vinegar
2 Tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon salt
Heat the vinegar in a saucepan until the sugar and salt dissolve. Sprinkle over 6-7 cups of cooked rice, stirring as it cools.
We made California rolls and shrimp rolls tonight. This was our first experiment.
The wasabi was much hotter than the usual stuff I have. Perhaps it was fresher or something, but Wes (my youngest brother) and I both got a bit lot more than we bargained for. When he asked if it snuck up on me, I said "No, it was more like an uphill charge ending with a grenade being thrown into a bunker."
In fact, the whole experience was quite reminiscent of my first time eating wasabi. Remind me to tell that story sometime…
