Afternoon watch, 4 bells (2:10 pm)
Now that it's got a brand new battery, my wife's car has another problem. The radiator fan is kicking off and on every second or so. It's probably been doing it all night. Nothing is on (obviously) but it won't stop running until it's drained the battery.
I had a friend who's car had the same problem. Turned out to be a bad battery.
Well I hope that isn't it since it's brand new, but if it is, at least I can return it without any hassle.
No work done today, and not because it's MLK day either. The mechanic that was supposed to work on it has his appendix burst this morning.
They ended up not finding anything wrong. The fan wouldn't keep running for them after they reconnected the battery on Tuesday. So we brought the car home and it's been behaving fine ever since.
