We’re having an insane lightning storm right now. If we lose power Lorien will be upset about missing the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
I’ll be upset I can’t make more smoothies in my new blender.
Today is 08/08/08. It doesn’t matter how you write it, month-day-year, day-month-year, year-month-day, etc, it’s all the same. We only have four more of these dates before they go away for a real long time.
Do something crazy. Leave work early. Eat ice cream for dinner. Enjoy.
Our new blender should be here today, although we’re not going to be blending weird things with it.
Seriously, though. A three horsepower blender? What can’t you blend with that?
I also ordered by new bookbinding tools today. It will take several weeks before they get here as they are made-to-order in England. I really like the guys at J Hewit and Sons, they’re the best.
