Our vacation plans are finally done. All our reservations were finished as of a phone call I made this morning to Bonnie Scotland. I’m very excited to stay at the Woodlands in Drumnadrochit, right next to Loch Ness.
We leave for London on the 11th of July (sorry, Sam—happy early birthday!), arriving on the morning of the 12th. Our cruise leaves Dover on the 13th, and returns on the 25th. We have a day-long tour with a group of friends on the 25th. I’ve been to London twice now, but there are still new things to do and see! This time we’ll go on the London Eye. We have the 26th in London also, then fly to Edinburgh for two days, flying back home the afternoon of the 29th.
I’ll be home for one day, then turn around and drive to Portland (about 7 hours) for a three-day decorative leather bookbinding seminar. I’m sure we’ll manage to squeeze a trip to Powell’s while we’re there.
