Indiana Jones

Last night Lorien and I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie. Her parents went to an earlier showing, but we had them pick up tickets for us to see the 9:45 show. There were still a lot of people there, but it wasn’t elbow-to-elbow packed or anything. The movie was good, but Lorien and I both agreed that we liked number three better than this one.

Don’t get me wrong—it’s still full of action and humor, it just didn’t seem to hold up to the last movie.

I think the funniest part of the night was the previews, though. There was one full of cowboys and horses and stuff, and I was thinking to myself, “There is nothing about this that makes me want to see this movie.”. When the preview ended, my wife said something to the effect of “That looks really good!”

So go out and see the movie: you saw Temple of Doom and it was way worse, you might as well finish the series.

I saw this today — work took us. I liked it but it was more cartoony than I would have preferred (like with the fridge). And what was up with the very beginning, with those random kids racing the military convoy?
I was really impressed by the structures with the moving pieces. Also I was glad it was a real “Indiana Jones” movie and not a Shia LaBeouf movie. And Cate Blanchett was awesome.
