Happy New Year everybody!
The guy that drove us to the Best Western Garden Inn in Salt Lake City was nice, but there was one part that scared me. A guy was riding in the front seat from the airport to the hotel and asked the driver if the hotel bar was still open. The driver responded "I'm not sure if it's still open now, but I was in there an hour ago and it was."
I made the comment that I wasn't sure if I should be worried about the fact that the driver was in the bar an hour ago, but only my wife was paying attention to me and laughed.
I crashed this weekend, it had been a long 10 days in Texas, followed by two days of airport and airplane travel, when I got home on the afternoon of last Saturday I had some errands to run, then went to bed. I didn't sleep well on account of my wife's cold—I got about 5 hours of sleep. Around 10am, after she got up, I went back to lay down for a nap and didn't get up until 5pm. When I did get up, she said I was completely out of it. I know I really needed the rest.
