Afternoon watch, 8 bells (4:22 pm)
I just had my second too-late comeback come into my head in the past month or so. Our accountant's assistant just came to my office and said "Just a friendly reminder, I need your signed purchase orders for last month."
I realized that was a perfect time to reply "Come back when the reminder is about to get unfriendly."
The first one was when I bought my replacement battery for my Motorola Razr phone at the AT&T store. They tried to sell me an iPhone. I should have replied "No thanks, I'm happy with my current religion."

I have one more week of work before leaving to Houston for 10 days. I may be blogging intermittently during that time. It depends on how crazy it is down there.
