Well, I thought I was done patching. My tape was coming up this morning, I think I failed to get enough drywall compound under the joint and the tape didn’t stick well enough. I just tore it all off and sanded down the joints. I am now waiting for the dust to settle down in the bathroom. The joys of working on your house…
I just finished my drywall patching in the master bathroom, it was hot work (I didn’t turn up the air conditioner because I’m cheap). It looks pretty good, I had to patch two pieces, both six inches tall but 52 and 90 inches long (the length and width of my tub—it’s a huge jetted tub). Tomorrow I’ll run another layer of drywall compound, sand down, and should be ready to texture and paint.
That leaves tile work for the morning. It’s going to be a long morning cutting tiles down to small squares. The things I do in my spare time, I swear…
