Dracula, Part Two

First dog watch, 2 bells (5:28 pm)

I finished reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula (in case you don’t follow my library plugin) this weekend. I read it expressly so I could read Fred Saberhagen’s The Dracula Tape with a fresh memory of what the original had to say. I must say, I’m less than 30 pages into The Dracula Tape and I love it! It’s hilarious. I’ll have to post a sentence or two that really got me, they’re totally worth it. Saberhagen’s Dracula has such a sense of humor that Stoker’s doesn’t!

Today was fairly quiet, but I got a lot of good stuff done. Took care of several problems that have been hanging around on the fringes that weren’t important enough to take up time previously. It feels good to get them off my plate. I also had a great lunch meeting with the boss, talking about the IT department and how it’s doing. We went to Tomato Street, yummm.

Every now and then I get this killer craving for their Tomato & Basil soup, it’s the bomb dot com.
