I’ve been sanding for about 5 hours today, working on my secret project. I have a seriously painful cramp in my neck and right shoulder. I’m done with the worst of the sanding, though, maybe two more hours left of work to do before I can move on.
Last night was our company Christmas party, and it was fun. I think I had more fun at this one than any previous year. It’s great to see the company do well enough to really throw a party at the end of the year and still have some left over for a bonus 
The white elephant gift exchange was, well, a bit weirder than before, but I guess with so many more people it was bound to happen. I bought an Etch a Sketch and added a USB port to the side (our company does architectural drafting software, it’s a funny joke). I ended up with a one million dollar bill and two matchsticks. This is the second year in a row I got something real stupid. My goal has always been one of bringing something that will get swapped until it cannot be swapped anymore. I like bringing a popular gift, and mine was definitely that this year. I wish other people had the same view, though.
All in all, though, it was fun, we had great food, and everybody had a good time.
