I’m testing this from a new wireless network, I’ll have to post more about this later—I hate wireless networks sometimes.
Followup:
My inlaws bought a new wireless base station because the old one didn’t reach through the entire Roosevelt Inn. Some chump at Best Buy told them that some model of Linksys would. Well, it doesn’t. In fact, it doesn’t reach as well on the main floor as the old one, but it does seem to reach further up the 3rd floor. I still get disconnected in the back of the 3rd floor, and don’t get much of a signal through most of the back half of the building regardless of what floor I’m on. Then again, I was just using my PDA, and the wireless antenna may not be as good as what you get in a larger PCMCIA or onboard wireless card in a larger laptop. I’m taking my laptop down this evening to test it out.
