This reminds me of the Dot Matrix Symphony of long ago, but some dude hooked up microphones to old hard drives and has them do weird things to make “music”.

Today some of my hardware rolled in that I ordered from Dell. Their corporate account people are pretty cool to work with. I’m real excited about our new backup tape drive, an Ultrium LTO-3 autoloader that has an eight tape capacity. Paired with the 400Gb (uncompressed) LTO-3 tapes, that gives us over 3Tb of storage before swapping out tapes.
