I did NOT watch the superbowl, nor do I know (or care) who won. I don't even know who played. I didn't even watch the commercials everyone is talking about today. So there!
Last Saturday Lorien and I went to Target and registered for our wedding. It was a lot of fun, walking around the whole store zapping things with the scan gun. We spent about four hours on our feet, which wasn't fun, but it was neat shopping for things like that with her.
After the registration, we were going to see a movie, but on our way (even before we got to the freeway) her Uncle S called and needed someone to watch his business while he did an emergency DJ job. So we were going to postpone movie night until this week, and I went home. I wasn't there for more than a minute when Lorien called me back, and the emergency DJ job fell through (their real DJ finally showed up), so our movie was back on. We cruised over to Spokane and checked out the valley mall while waiting to get in to see The Wedding Date. It was all right. Not the greatest movie ever made, but it had some funny parts.
Yesterday my soon-to-be sister-in-law had her third baby, a 7 pound 4 ounce, 21 inch girl. So I'm an uncle, almost.
