I just found out that I need a root canal done. This definitely qualifies for my “Things that are Not Cool” list.
This morning when I got up (about 6:45am) I couldn’t even see across the cul-de-sac because of the thick fog. Thankfully most of it burned off by the time I got showered and was on my way to work (about 7:30). Today was the first fog that I’ve seen this season, so it surprised me. We always get lots of fog in the fall around here. The Spokane Airport is one of the worst to fly in to because of it. There have been many times I drove the 40 miles to pick someone up there only to have their plane turn around and go to Seattle because they couldn’t land due to the foggy conditions.
Well the import process is taking much more time than it usually does. I started it at noon yesterday (see my last post), and it’s still not done yet. I expected it to run 15 or 16 hours, but it just hit 21, with no signs of finishing soon. Not like Microsoft provides a progress bar for it or anything, who would need that? You know what, even the Import Program is DOS-based. Heh heh.
